Starting at the Shore
I’m Jessie Joi– author, sea witch and creator of Fablepagan. I write fantasy romance drenched in deep, spellbinding love, and beyond the pages of my books, I also walk the spiritual path of the sea witch. It is a path of tides, transformation, feminine power and the deep connection to the endless mysteries of the water.
It began as a whisper from the waves– a call to blend my love of myth, magic and mermaid lore with practical rituals for healing, empowerment, activism and oceanic living.
I grew up loving all things mermaid and the sea. I would spend most of my summer beach days picking up trash and seashells, and waving to the tides as they swept over my feet. My parents didn’t raise me on any particular religion, so when it came time to move out for college, I was left floundering for something to believe in, something that would guide me through this next journey and beyond. Witchcraft locked into my life like a puzzle piece I didn’t know I’d been missing, and after a few years of wandering down different paths, I found interest pulled back to my childhood roots. Before I knew It, I found myself walking the path of a Sea Witch.
Today, Fablepagan is a portal into all things sea witch: intuitive wisdom, moon magic, mermaid mythology and ritual storytelling. Here I teach women how to reclaim their inner sea goddess, connect with the tides, and live in rhythm with water.
