Starting at the Shoreline…

I grew up dreaming.

Some dreams I dismissed, too weird or too close to real life to want to dwell on, and others I couldn’t even remember after waking up the next morning. But then there were the dreams that played out like a cover-to-cover story, ones that had me waking up and aching to go back to dreamland to figure out what would happen next. I wrote them down in journals and diaries, and resigned myself to the fact that that’s where they would live.

But once I got to college, everything changed. Writing became a passion, then my major, and the dreams I’d thought were long resigned to the pages of notebooks began to surface with a vengeance. In fact, they flat-out refused to leave me alone until I got them out of my head and put them onto my computer, and then outlined, and then wrote out draft after draft. My first manuscript, my college thesis, is a well-known secret that may yet see the light of a bookstore. But it wasn’t until after I graduated that I really began to wonder about the dreams I wanted to share with the world.

Being a writer and a full-time witch, I decided to put a bit of that creative power into my manuscripts, and churned out content that was not only thrilling to write, but magical to the touch. I like to think I found the secret ingredient to unlocking my creative potential, and to put it plainly, there will be no caging this story-telling beast anytime soon- she’s just getting started!

If you are interested in keeping up with my books, you have come to the write place! You can subscribe to my newsletter for all of the updates about the dreams I now put on paper. And if you’re curious about my magical endeavors and what I do when I’m not writing, you can find me on Tik Tok and Instagram where I showcase my witchcraft, mermaids, and various other forms of mayhem!

If you are called to the sea and want to learn more alongside me, you’ll be eager to dive into Sea Witchery, a Patreon made by a sea witch (me) for any of those who are interested in all of the magical mystery’s the Ocean has to offer!

And to all my fellow dreamers, never ever stop dreaming!
